IT WAS ONLY A DRILL!

So there I was coming back from a walk enjoying fall foliage and I noticed police vehicles streaming into North Buck Lane...so I went around for a peek.

I swear my throat went dry - there was the SWAT bus and all sorts of police vehicles streaming onto the development that isn't called "Allaire". Apparently, the LMPD was doing training exercises like the firemen do when they burn down buildings. (Only did anyone get notice that lives here that this was going to happen? Maybe just the people across the street?)

Wonder what the rabbits and birds and foxes living there think?

I know what the neighborhood thinks...what does this developer get for allowing his property to be used this way? Some kind of tax write off? Sheesh, why not just fix up the 3 houses again and put them on the market for sale or for rentals so that people can live in them?

But no....this small neighborhood gets to look at all this in various stages of deterioration or demolition for FIVE years until the plan expires...any bets on those condos ARE NOT EVER going to get built?
