236 North Aberdeen Developers Take It On The Chin?
|
(Or they would have had they bothered to show up at the Radnor Board of Commissioners Meeting when their plan was discussed last evening?) Spies from the west said last night was almost as fun as a Tredyffin Township Board of Supervisors meeting! Last night, the debacle of what to do about 236 North Abderdeen had a solid airing. And well can it be said, the developer didn't leave the meeting like a bright shiny and victorious penny? (Or had they actually bothered to show up to the meeting they would have left like slightly a whipped dog?) Yes, the developers are SOOO interested in being a good neighbor and doing the right thing that they apparently were out of town. Isn't that interesting? What is seven degrees of fabulous are the unexpected champions of this small North Wayne neighborhood - many commissioners were sympathetic it seems, yet why are there reports that the one commissioner the most quiet was the commissioner who represents the ward this house is in? Hmmmm? Anyway, at the end of this month is one more meeting, but hopefully the Radnor Township Board of Commissioners will get these developers to bag this plan and do something more site and area appropriate, or better yet, encourage them to just forgeddaboutit altogether....but these are desperate times, and these "developers" are McMansion peddling realtors by day, are they not? Here is the post that started my interest in this application: History At Risk: 236 N. Aberdeen Avenue North Wayne PA Here is a post I wrote a while back: Get Your 236 N. Aberdeen in North Wayne Right Here! These developers deserve to be denied....stay tuned. And what is wrong with municipalities that don't say boo over 32 year old flow rate data when it comes to storm water management? And what is wrong with FEMA for that matter?
