Here is the opening of an op-ed piece that appears in today's Main Line Life regarding the election of a new Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This election day is the first opportunity to let Tom Corbett know what we think about his support for the dismantling of the Barnes Foundation. Here is one woman's opinion on the matter:

A seasoned senior casts her vote for the Barnes

I am a registered Republican and have been all of my long adult life. This year, however, I have a very compelling reason to support Democrat John Morganelli for Pennsylvania Attorney General. I want to see Tom Corbett - current Attorney General and a Republican - soundly defeated.The reason? Tom Corbett's utter failure to protect the Barnes Foundation in Merion as a site of historical and cultural significance that rightfully belongs to the people of this Commonwealth and the nation. That he is part of this wasteful destruction of a national treasure is bad enough. That he is doing so when more than $100,000,000 in hard-earned, taxpayer money is at stake during these perilous financial times makes it even worse.
