Why Is Joel Harden of Devon Even ALLOWED To Still Have Dogs or Pets?
|
So, let me get this straight: this guy Joel Harden got in trouble but a few short weeks ago when his dog savagely mauled and killed another neighbor's elderly pooch and also bit the neighbor? And so let me get this straight as well the fact that this SAME dude has been in trouble over his dogs and cruelty to animals BEFORE? So why does Joel Harden of Devon still have pets? Why is he allowed to have pets? And why are these dogs who are proven savages allowed to remain in a residential neighborhood? What if they get a kid? And so now we read that once again Joel Harden's dogs are in the news?

You ask me, if someone has a pet or pets that have been ruled by a court where the defendant had a chance to defend him/herself a "dangerous" animal then the animal should be removed from the owner and relocated to what is hopefully a loving and caring siutation if someone will take them in. Why Harden was allowed to keep these dogs after they were ruled to be dangerous makes no sense.
I saw on ESPN the other night how some of the pitbulls owned by jailed NFL quarterback Michael Vick that were trained to fight each other have turned rather quickly into nice animals and will be placed with families due to proper training and care.
I feel bad for these dogs of Harden's that will probably be put down. It's no wonder thay act the way they do since Harden had a previous animal cruelty conviction.
The dogs are not the problem. Just as an inanimate object like a crowbar or knife that is used in a crime is not the problem, these dogs that were either trained or abused into being dangerous are not the problem. Harden is the big problem here.
Ya gotta wonder how many other problems someone who abuses animals has.
